Technology is a fantastic thing that has done so much good and I have nothing against it in itself - I'm just scared what people will do with it. Everything always has a downside...and this is how I feel today. I'm tired of always sitting at the computer, being totally addicted and thinking it's normal to keep in touch with people only through electronic devices. I feel like people don't even see each other anymore unless it's about life's duties like school and work. Or drinking together. Maybe this is just my perception though; a view of a victim of the modern times?

Psychologists fear people will become sociopaths because we're so distracted with our electronic devices that we distance ourselves from other people (MP3 players, Instant Messaging, Text messaging--emails are considered "old-fashioned" now). And eventually we'll all be so socially inept, we won't know how to communicate any longer.

This is a very well done concept.

I had no internet for 2 days and it was a kind of relief, I took off with friends to the cinema, took my littlest niece to the zoo. Totally agree, we're becoming shallow for staying here longer. Trying to be here for a while and then go :D

hi - saw this picture on flickr, and it would be perfect for me to reference for an assessment - it completely backs up a point I'd like to make. I was just wondering if you would mind if I printed out a copy and used it in this assignment - I won't do anything to it, you will be referenced, I just need to talk about the picture... thanks!

technology and innovation is the only thing that'll save us. hi-tech can give us cheap and abundant sources of energy, food, and water, so we can avoid global conflicts. technology could set us free and allow everyone a high standard of energy.
